Noticed that I havent posted in days. Cant say that I dont have time since I always get to check my emails every so often. I just didnt have the urge to scribble them down here. But anyway, Id still give you a full account of what has happened to me these past few days.
Let's start off with last Friday. Met a guy whom I was just having a meaningless chit-chat with, on the 190 Rocket bus. Told me it's nice to kill time while commuting when you talk with someone. Carried the conversion until we reached Don Mills station. He was the first one to leave since he was in a hurry to meet his friend in Fairview Mall. Saw him from afar and was actually waiting for me to get off the bus. Asked if we could talk again sometime and then asked for my number. Hesitant at first but gave it anyway since I sensed no harm in handing it out to him. Then he just suddenly blurted out, "In case you wanna know, Im 26." His name is Eric and he's from Poland. Been here in Canada for 8 yrs already. He's currently working as a technical support consultant at Client Logic for 8 months now. Lives alone in Islington and loves sushi.
I got the chance to chat with him yesterday. He even asked me to have sushi with him downtown. Declined the offer since I know that it would be awkward for me coz I dont know him that much. Probably when I get to know him a bit better then Id say yes. That is, if he ever asks me out again.
Saturday, Jan. 8: Went to the SFC training since Mitty asked me to be an asst. facilitator. Only a few of us were there. Adjourned at 9.30 pm. I was about to ride with Ate Adel but when she knew that my place is nearby Dennis Lai's, she asked me to hitch with him instead. Omygawd!!! Of all people..why him??? Got no choice but to follow or else, take the bus and freeze my ass in the cold.
Introduced myself to him and told me that he doesnt recognize me at all. The hell do I care. All I wanted from him was to drop me off at my place. But then, Fhil just suddenly butted in and asked if we wanted to hang-out at Marlon's house and play video games and sing karaoke. I just said "ok" since Dennis wanted to go too and he's my "designated" driver to take me home. And so I just tagged along with them, in short.
I was with Sheila (one with the good voice), Fhil, Eman, Dennis and Marlon. Played some racing games and sang karaoke with them. Fhil made me 3 drinks, all of them with a mix of rum. First was with ginger ale, then mango and last with coke. Man...they really hit the spot. Ahhh...free booze just really made my day so...soothing.
It was already 2 am and they were still stuck with the XBox. Was too shy to ask Dennis if we could head out already so I asked Eman instead. Told me that if Dennis wont take me home at 3-ish then he'd take me. But when the clock striked 3, his snores were already deafening our ears.
Dozed off for a short while since neither Fhil nor Dennis were too tired to give up playing. Saw that it was already 15 mins before 5 am, so I panicked and called home. Finally asked Dennis if he's going home and thank goodness, he was. Whew...thought I would be sleeping over at Marlon's place without my basic necessities with me. And to think that I was having my period then. Too embarrassing if I leave something that shouldnt be there in the first place, if you know what I mean.
